Travis Barker the drummer from Blink 182 has been combating the internet release of his nude photos all week long. It almost seems like an endless battle for him. His lawyers have been sending out “cease and desist” letters to individual websites to have them removed, however no sooner do they get them off of one website before another website has them up and running.
According to TMZ he had taken pictures on and sent them to a female admirer 5 years ago and were therefore never intended for the public’s eyes. I however beg to differ. After all anyone who decides to snap pictures of their hidden features in today’s internet world should automatically expect them to one day surface, this is even more likely if they just happen to be famous.
Honestly I can’t even count the number of nude images or in some cases actual sex tapes of stars that have ended up online. This should be warning to anyone that maybe it’s just not a good deal to take that special snap shot, that maybe common sense should be their guide. If a person happens to lack common sense then they can’t really expect the world to let them slide by unnoticed forever.
Another thought that should prevent people from sending out explicit photos to people is the eventual cost of those photos. You have to wonder how much has been spent over the years on lawyer fees to stop online nude picture leaks. I guess Travis like the many before him is learning the hard way exactly why cameras should be used only with his pants on.
