Ok maybe I don't really wish I was a star with the whole paparazzi thing and stalker fans, but then there are perks. Not just average perks, like limo rides and what have you. No, I mean real perks like a fat paycheck for a simple tweet.

Major ad companies are shelling out big dollars to have the most popular stars tweet their ads for as much as $10,000. That's a pretty penny to tweet a simple ad. That comes out to the highest amount ever paid for a simple hand full of words in history.
Just think if I were a star I could tweet one ad per month and be pretty happy. It may even free me up to be in a position of hand selecting my scripts. I only hope that that the stars in this position at the very least take advantage of their opportunity and accept only quality material; since they have the extra dough to live worry free.
Top names in the music industry that have been paid for tweets are Snoop Dog and Ray J; Ray J brings in a lower price than snoop. I'm not sure if they base price on popularity or twitter fans. Twitter ads go beyond musicians and include actors and actresses as well as athletes such as LA Lakers Lamar Odom.
Sending out twitter ads has the ability to save stars when they are facing possible employment problems. In fact, Charlie Sheen was able to send out a tweet for internships.com; this during his struggles with two and a half men. In addition Lindsay Lohan tweeted for Campus Live amidst her struggles; not a bad back up option when you hit a wall.
ahh, to be a star...
