Cyrus is often photographed leaving the gym after intense workouts. She's known to be a fan of Pilates, which does shape a person up quickly, but just because she looks leaner, it doesn't necessarily mean someone is anorexic. Hopefully Miley's taking care of herself!
As it turns out, Miley Cyrus might have a good reason for looking a tad thinner: She recently tweeted that she has a health condition that's changed the way she eats. On April 8, Cyrus took to her Twitter account to explain, saying:
For everyone calling me anorexic I have a gluten and lactose allergy. It's not about weight it's about health. Gluten is crapppp anyway!
If Miley is indeed adjusting her diet to exclude gluten, she's likely eating far fewer carbs. Not eating carbs, and generally eating healthier for that matter, can slim a person down pretty quickly -- especially someone as young as Cyrus (she's only 19). Her metabolism is probably taking over in a major way. Combine that with Pilates, and you've got a recipe for an awesome, healthy, lean figure.
To be fair, while I'll agree that Miley Cyrus definitely looks thinner than ever, I don't think she looks sickly thin. She still has a killer figure, it just looks slimmer. I think it's great that she's responding so quickly to recent speculation about her weight, too. Whether she likes it or not (and she probably doesn't), Miley is a role model for young girls, and it's always best to promote good health!
